Spiders' sci-fi take on the French Revolution gets its first gameplay reveal
Steelrising is an action RPG set in the grungy streets of 18th century Paris midmost of the French Revolution. Oh, and there's robots. The majority of these murderous clockwork robots belong to King Joseph Louis Barrow XVI himself, and they're fashioned to protect the unlucky monarchy against the revolutionaries. As Aegis—an android sentry go belonging to Marie Antoinette—you'll need to use your superhuman abilities to agitate against these forces and, presumably, the male monarch himself.
